• Temporary text data generated from OCR and AI parsing.
• Anonymous usage analytics (e.g., session duration, device type).

2. How We Use Data

Uploaded data is processed securely and temporarily to extract structured expense information. Files and text results are automatically deleted once processing is complete. We do not use your data for training AI models or marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Retention

SnapExpense does not permanently store uploaded receipts. All temporary files are deleted after processing. Data saved locally on your device (e.g., export files or history) remains solely under your control and can be deleted anytime from your device.

4. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI API – used for AI-based data extraction.
• Firebase / Google Analytics – used for anonymous crash and usage reporting.

These providers may process limited technical data (e.g., device type, country) but cannot access uploaded receipts or extracted content.

5. Cookies

Our website uses only essential and analytics cookies. The mobile app does not use cookies, but may store preferences locally on your device.

6. Your Rights

You may request information or deletion of any temporary logs by contacting us at privacy@snapexpense.io.

7. Children’s Privacy

SnapExpense is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or process data from minors.
